Job Description

The Safety Officer is responsible for leading a team of production workers during a specific shift to ensure that daily production goals are met. They coordinate with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics to ensure smooth operations. The Safety Officer monitors production processes and adjusts as needed to ensure quality and efficiency. The Safety Officer ensures that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning. Overall, the safety officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of the tube division's production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identifying and assessing workplace hazards and risks and developing plans to control or mitigate them.
  • Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Providing safety training to employees to ensure they are aware of the risks and how to work safely.
  • Investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses and reporting findings to management.
  • Developing and implementing emergency response plans and procedures to respond to workplace incidents.
  • Maintaining safety records and documentation to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Coordinating with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Advising management on safety matters and making recommendations to improve safety performance.
  • Conducting safety culture assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance safety culture in the workplace.

Note: All the duties are responsible may be changed according to the need of the department. Department Heads will be supervised and train as per the need.
