About the opportunity:

We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented Ruby Engineer who will own a Shopify App built on RoR. 

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include maintaining the existing app, adding new features into it and making sure everything's running smoothly. Since the app is hosted on AWS, some experience with AWS will be a plus but you're encouraged to apply even if you don't have this. 

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with SQL and database design principles
• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices
• Experience with Git version control and familiarity with GitHub workflows
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform is a plus
