Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly experienced Engineer - Road Construction to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in road construction and possess strong technical skills. As an Engineer - Road Construction, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the design, management, and construction of our road projects.

Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and execute road construction projects in compliance with industry standards and regulations
Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
Perform site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and safety standards are met
Develop project budgets, schedules, and timelines
Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure project completion within budget and timeline
Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as government agencies and contractors, to ensure project success
Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for potential road construction projects
Identify and resolve any technical issues or challenges during project implementation
Stay updated with industry developments and new technologies to improve project efficiency and effectiveness

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in road construction projects
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
Excellent project management and leadership skills
Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
