Job overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our Business Development team, focusing primarily on driving revenue growth. This role is crucial in executing business development strategies aimed at increasing our revenue, particularly through nurturing and expanding our niche clientele. You will be responsible for reviving passive leads that have shown potential but are not yet fully realized, thereby enhancing our overall revenue efficiency.

Additionally, this role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, with a key focus on recovering pending payments to ensure the proper realization of revenue. While your main responsibilities will fall under the Business Development team, you will also work closely with the Sales and Finance teams to support and optimize revenue-related processes.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and negotiation skills, coupled with strong body language and client-handling capabilities, to effectively manage and grow our client relationships.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships, analyze market trends to inform sales strategies, develop and nurture leads through networking, cold calling, and strategic partnerships—all with a focus on aligning these processes with revenue growth.
  • Lead Nurturing: Focus on nurturing leads within a specific client segment, including consistent follow-ups, scheduling meetings, and negotiating sales deals.
  • Lead Revitalization: Revive passive leads that have shown potential but are not yet fully realized, contributing to enhanced revenue efficiency.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, proactively managing payment schedules to ensure timely collections. Conduct regular follow-ups with clients before payment due dates to address any concerns, and assist in the recovery of overdue payments.
  • Financial Acumen: Possess the ability to understand and interpret financial statements and payment schedules, enabling effective discussions with clients about payment issues. Additionally, have a strong understanding of VAT and taxation processes in the Nepalese business market

Skills:

  • Verbal Communication Skills: The most critical skill for this role is strong verbal communication. Success depends on your ability to confidently engage with clients and partners, using clear, persuasive language and effective body language to build trust and manage relationships.
  • Business Development Skills: Strong ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships. 
  • Lead Management: Expertise in nurturing and revitalizing leads, including effective follow-up, meeting scheduling, and sales negotiation.
  • Client Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for building rapport with clients and creating a positive experience. As the face of our organization, you will foster relationships that make clients feel valued and enthusiastic about working with us.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: Ability to confidently negotiate sales deals and resolve client concerns, ensuring alignment with revenue growth objectives.
  • Financial Literacy: Intermediate understanding of financial statements, payment schedules, and the ability to discuss financial issues with clients.
  • Networking Skills: Ability to build and leverage professional networks to generate leads and foster strategic partnerships.
  • Software and tools: Understanding in accounting software is highly valued, and expertise in MS-Excel/G-Sheets is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any business-related field is required, with a preference for majors in Sales and Business Development.
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred. If you're confident and passionate but lack experience, we encourage you to apply.
