Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

The RH Nurse will be responsible for the day to day implementation of the care tasks appertaining to the holistic and specifically the nursing needs of the residents in the Home and to support the RH Clinical Manager in providing leadership to the care team and effective 24hr management of the Home within the available resources by working shifts to cover the home night and day. The post holder will have a key responsibility for the quality of nursing assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation and associated care staff training issues to ensure that at all times residents receive an excellent standard of care.

Required Qualifications/Experience and Skills

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience working in Hospital or Community setting post qualification
  • Current unrestricted registration with the Nepal Nursing Council
  • Comprehensive knowledge and skills in general nursing care and basic pharmacology
  •  Must have good command of both spoken and written English and Nepali
  • Sound IT skills (intermediate level in Excel, Word, PowerPoint as a minimum
  •  Working knowledge and application of relevant Country legislation governing medical practice
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, paying careful attention to detail and managing  multiple tasks.
