Roles and responsibilities of this job
Reports To: Head of Repair and Maintenance Department/Administration Manager
Job Purpose
The Repair and Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all organizational facilities, equipment, furniture, utilities, and physical assets remain in good working condition. The incumbent shall perform routine inspections, undertake minor maintenance works, coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs, supervise outsourced maintenance work, and maintain maintenance records to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained workplace.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Facility Inspection and Preventive Maintenance
2. Minor Repair and Maintenance
3. Vendor and Contractor Coordination
4. Equipment and Asset Maintenance
Coordinate regular servicing and repairs of organizational equipment including but not limited to:
5. Maintenance Request Management
6. Procurement and Inventory
7. Budget Monitoring
8. Safety and Compliance
9. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of:
