FGN’s current program focuses on supporting the Government of Nepal in implementing national Child Protection Policies, particularly the Deinstitutionalization of children from abusive institutions. Job Description

  • Work with Transit home team for managing cases of rescued children
  • Conduct family search mission and locate families of trafficked and displaced children
  • Conduct interviews families, children and concerned actors
  • Assess family condition and prepare families for reintegration
  • Establish bonding between children and families using GoN’s case management guideline and NGN's reintegration Guideline
  • Ensure safety and security of children while travelling along
  • Assist senior managers on rescue missions
  • Take lead on reconnecting and reintegrating children with their families
  • Finding suitable alternative care for children if family reintegration is not possible
  • Monitor reunited children to ensure his/her safety and sustainable long term care
  • Manage case closure following the procedures
  • Prepare provisional budget and action plans as per operational procedures
  • Participate in all required meetings and trainings
  • Support senior managers in planning and budgeting
  • Reporting to line manager

Duration:1 year (with possibility of extension)
