A Regional Sales Officer is the individual in charge of handling the sales/service representatives working at an automotive business. He oversees the staffing of the company, hires and trains new employees; sets the sales/service quotas or goals, helps in financing arrangements, warranties and rebates for clients. Automotive sales/service Officer lead a dealership’s sales/service team.
Essential Functions:
- Run the entire sales/service team’s dealerships to the specified region.
- Responsible for developing campaigns, marketing plans and other effective techniques for company to excel among the rest
- Aside from thinking of innovative ways to sell Tractors , maintaining the allotted budget
- Engaging and training new staff
- Mastering the features of all Tractors in their lot
- Entertaining vehicle buyers and handling customer complaints or inquiries
- Complete Tractors inventories, sales/services reports and invoices, and other documents released under his/her watch
- Create new leads & aggressively grow & retain the market share
- Following potential leads and managing Tractors sales/services
- Communicating with potential buyers to understand their needs
- Leverage his/her relationships with corporates to pitch Agni Tractors to the market
- Delivering the sales/service pitch to potential buyers/clients.
- Explaining the value added accessories available with the vehicle
- Write effective proposals for clients
- Leadership qualities to be able to manage Senior team members
- Ability to network and create working relationships with Corporate Clients
- Develop vendor relationships with existing & future vendors
- Assign & monitor performance of the existing team members
- Manage costs & expenses judiciously
- Fluent with MS Office functions (PPT, EXCEL & MS Word)
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide status reporting of team activities against the target plan or schedule
- Keep the Regional Sales Manager informed of task accomplishment, issues and status
- Serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve interface and integration issues with other teams
- Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the team
- Provide guidance to the team based on management direction
