MKCL has core objective to be a Manager in Agriculture Value Chain by developing Agri business throughout the chain such as agriculture production, collection, processing, national & International marketing, research & development, technical services including supply of all agriculture inputs to farmers.   • Minimum Bachelor degree in Agriculture/Agri-business/ Economics/ management and related discipline. Candidate having Master degree in relevant discipline shall be prioritized.
  • Experience: Minimum 4-5 Years of proven experience in Agriculture Business Growth & Development.

Age: Not exceeding 45 years as on application deadline.

Note:

  • Candidates with experience in agricultural product and service marketing shall be given preference.
  • Candidates must have own two-wheeler and its license.

Job Description

A. Overall, Roles and responsibilities:

  • Should be the key person to implement company policy, plan and activities within the region in best possible way.
  • Overall responsible for day to day operation including Sourcing, Sales & Marketing and Business Development in the region.
  • Assist Regional Business & Operation Manager on all level of planning and responsible to apply those plans on best possible way in the region.
  • Regional level coordination with Government body, non-government organization, Universities partner company/organization, cooperatives and other associated entities.
  • Overall responsible to map the field requirements of seeds, fertilizer, machinery, credit facility, and make a development, supply and extension plan accordingly.
  • Responsible to see the production and processing industries establishment opportunities in the region.
  • Scheduling of production, collection, marketing and sales opportunities and other task so that all activities accomplish in real time.
  • Formulation and maintain business opportunities.
  • Track the regional budget expenses are as per the plan.
  • To explore investment and new business opportunities.
  • Explore the company vision, mission and create an investment opportunity from Government body, Non-Government Organization and other associated bodies.
  • Supply chain management from farm to end market.
  • Responsible for market promotion, brand promotion for available products and services.
  • Cooperative network development from production level to marketing.
  • Take a vendor’s feedback and make a plan to resolve those issues.

B. Business Growth

Roles and Responsibilities

  • You shall be overall responsible to plan, implement, track and achieve the annual/periodic sales target of the company maintaining the approved margin of the company under standard sales policy of the Company.
  • To mobilize Agriculture Resource Centre (ARC)/Distributor/Dealer/Agro vet including existing dealers and other possible sales destination for periodic sales planning, placement of products, application of schemes and payback from market of working areas.
  • Responsible to implement sales activities including sharing of sales schemes and other promotional materials to the business associates in working areas.
  • You shall be responsible to check the strength, weakness, opportunities & threats on the business associate (ARC/Distributor/Dealer/Agrovet & other) and responsible to act & enhance the business relationship accordingly ensuring the payment collection in time.
  • To compile all business activities & generate periodic report in the prescribed format.
  • Coordination with sourcing/purchase team to collect local food products & local seeds from the working area ensuring quality.
  • Planning Scheduling and promoting office event including meetings, conference, interviews, orientation and training sessions.
  • To establish new distributor, dealers, agro vets network throughout working areas as per annual target.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales plan for necessary budget management.
  • Cooperative network development for structural sales and marketing activities.
  • Coordinate and provide feedback to the supervisor for the additional of new products in portfolio and availability of the products in time.
  • Cooperate & coordinate with the sales head.
  • Responsible for feedback collection from clients and way out the possible solution of it.
  • Ensure sales achievement as per target/plan.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
  • Research and analyses market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information that affects marketing strategies
