Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Recruitment Team Lead to manage and drive the performance of our recruitment operations team. The role involves leading recruitment team, ensuring high-quality candidate shortlisting, maintaining strong client relationships, and improving overall recruitment efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on recruitment experience, strong team leadership skills,and a good understanding of job portals, recruitment workflows, and client servicing in the Nepalese market.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and guide a team of recruiters to ensure high-quality and timely recruitment delivery
Oversee and manage recruitment operations across all stages, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, candidate follow-ups, and job vacancy closures
Provide hands-on recruitment support by directly managing roles when required, especially during peak hiring periods, team capacity constraints, or critical client needs
Ensure shortlisted candidate profiles are shared with clients accurately and within agreed timelines and service levels
Conduct regular quality checks on recruiter calls, screening processes, and shortlisted candidate profiles; identify gaps and drive continuous process improvements
Plan team capacity and support hiring prioritization based on business needs and client demand
Drive initiatives to improve jobseeker engagement and activity on the job portal
Coordinate outreach visits to training institutes, colleges, and skill development centers to onboard and engage jobseekers
Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and recruitment campaigns
Work closely with the sales team to understand client hiring requirements, service expectations, and timelines
Manage client communication related to feedback, concerns, or escalations and ensure timely resolution
Support client retention by maintaining consistent service quality and reliable recruitment delivery
Prepare and share recruitment performance reports, insights, and improvement recommendations with management
Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely recruitment operations
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor to support departmental and organizational requirements.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 4 years

Other Specification

Strong leadership and people management skills
Sound understanding of recruitment processes and operations
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in Nepali and English
Ability to handle client escalations professionally
Good analytical and reporting skills
Time management and multitasking ability
Problem-solving and decision-making skills

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or job portal–based hiring will be preferred
At least 1–2 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role
