On behalf of our client, a pioneering in Nepal’s Hospitality sector, Executive Search-Merojob is seeking a Recruitment Officer. Who will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for supporting hiring across all outlets and departments. The role involves sourcing, screening, and coordinating the hiring of qualified candidates while ensuring a smooth recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers. The Recruitment Officer will also maintain a strong talent pipeline to support the company’s expanding operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with department heads and outlet managers to identify staffing requirements.
Prepare and coordinate job advertisements with the marketing team across job portals, social media, and other recruitment channels.
Source candidates through job portals, referrals, walk-ins, networking, and field sourcing.
Maintain and regularly update a candidate database for current and future hiring needs.
Ensure vacancies across all properties are filled within the required timelines.
Review applications and shortlist candidates based on job requirements and qualifications.
Coordinate departmental interviews and trade tests with relevant managers.
Maintain interview records, evaluation sheets, and candidate tracking reports.
Conduct reference checks and verify candidate documentation prior to onboarding.
Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide timely updates.
Follow up with hiring managers to obtain interview feedback and final hiring decisions.
Assist in preparing and issuing offer letters in coordination with the HR team.
Support onboarding processes including joining documentation and orientation coordination.
Maintain employee documentation including personal files, contracts, and compliance records.
Ensure accurate updates in HRMS related to new hires, exits, transfers, and confirmations.
Coordinate staff uniform requirements including sizing, issuance, and record keeping.
Provide general HR and administrative support when required.
Identify and coordinate with recruitment agencies and manpower suppliers when required.
Assist in maintaining a database of approved recruitment partners.
Monitor partner performance including quality of candidates, replacement rate, and turnaround time.
Maintain recruitment agreements and ensure compliance with service terms.
Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring dashboards.
Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in recruitment or HR operations.
Experience in hospitality, retail, or multi-outlet organizations will be an advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and candidate sourcing techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage recruitment timelines.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems/HRMS.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple hiring requirements.
