Job Title: Recruitment Manager
Number of Positions: 1
Location: The position is based in Kathmandu valley with frequent visits outside the valley.
Fixed Term Contract from June 2025 - July 2027 (Probable Extension)
Reports to: Head of Recruitment, Selection and Matriculation (RSM)
Date of Call: May 7, 2025

Deadline: May 16, 2025 (Friday)

Job Purpose:

To lead recruitment of outstanding university graduates and young professionals as Teach for Nepal Fellows

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Office Management/ Culture

  • Monitor, Evaluate & Support Assistants
  • Lead and participate in RSM Meetings
  • Active participation in Reflection, Check-In and meetings

Functional Task

1. College Engagements and outreach

  • Outreach and source prospects from colleges, university and other institutions
  • Building relationship with academics and stakeholders
  • Hold high visibility events and info sessions
  • Supporting prospects with 1-1 cultivation

2. Manage the Funneling of the Candidates (Recruitment, Cultivation and Matriculation)

  • Support prospects in funneling process through phone calls and in-person meetings
  • Virtual engagements through social media, digital media, email and SMS
  • 1-1 with Prospects

3. Support in the Selection (First Interview and Assessment center)

  • Invite & Schedule Interview and Assessment center
  • Support candidates for interview and Assessment Center

4. Manage entire Info-Session / Event

  • Inviting total participants
  • Logistic Readiness as per the participation

5. Documentation and Reporting

  • Regular update in CRM - Salesforce
  • Track and analyse the data to propose future steps
  • Regular documentation of engagements with the output

  • Self-Reflective and Learning - Ability to reflect on the work and willingness to learn,continuously improves self as well as the recruitment process, and the team.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Master’s Degree in any discipline (STEM & Business graduates are encouraged to apply.)
  • Full time (post Bachelor’s) professional experience of at least 5 years
  • Experience with young people desirable
  • Strong in both Nepali and English Languages
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Pragmatic and Sociable
  • Willing to travel in and outside Nepal if necessary
  • Strong Computer competency (At-least Office Package)
