Roles and responsibilities of this job

Qualification:

Minimum BCom/ BBS (additional professional qualification will be added advantage)
Must have minimum 1-3 years of proven continuous service in accounts and finance department of large scale construction companies.
Must have a hands-on experience of working with accounting software

Required Skills:

Must be a fast learner and grasp the instruction from seniors without much briefing/ direction
Must be proficient in communication, coordination including the execution
Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office packages
Must have a reasonable knowledge of accounting, reconciliations and confirmation of account balances
Must be able to handle inventory, advances, WIP, VAT registers, challans, goods receipt and purchase order
Must be capable of filing income tax returns, VAT returns, tds returns.
Must be able to do regular accounting, voucher preparation, filing of transaction documents and executing various forms and document,
Must be able to work with the company’s own software and be responsible for the up-to-date transactions record in the system
Must be able to do reconciliation of party accounts, inventory, bank, intercompany, site accounts, tax, vat, retention and other accounts as required
Must have a reasonable knowledge of tax and vat
Must have good knowledge of tally accounting software
