Receptionist Job Description for a Construction Company:

Position: Receptionist Department: Administration

Job Summary: As the receptionist , you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression for clients, partners, and visitors. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the front desk, assisting with administrative tasks, and facilitating effective communication within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet clients, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel and departments.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, organized, and well-presented.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless office operations.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining employee and client databases.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and photocopying.
  • Support special projects and events as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in using office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers.
