Required Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:

BE Civil with 3-5 years or Diploma in Civil Engg. with 5-7 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Billing Engineer in Building Construction
Hands on experience in preparing Bill of Quantity
Ability to calculate and work out quantities of different components of building construction independently from approved drawings and to check and detect the error from the bills submitted by contractors
Good working knowledge of Cost Estimation, Cost Analysis and Rate Analysis
Ability to explain design and drawings and other variations.
Excellent Numerical skills, Excellent command over MS Office
Ability to measure and value the work done with high precision and accuracy
Good knowledge about the measurement of various components of building construction
Experienced in verification of bills
Experienced in Reconciliation of Billed quantities vs Paid quantities
