Taking out quantities from Drawings/ site.
To make assumptions (for structure sizes/ type) to take out quantities
BOQ Preparation in xls.
Knowledge of benchmark figures quantities/ rates/ amount/ ratios of major items in a Project
To check & correct the quantities/ rates/ amount based on benchmark figures
To cross-verify/audit/ certify and being able to correct the intentional/ unintentional mistakes (offsite and on site) in Measurement and Billing done by others (Subcon/ Client).

Estimation
To prepare proper RFQs to obtain prices
Quote Comparison, Question/ Clarifications, negotiations and Preparation of Work orders
Contract & Condition of Contract
Knowledge of Item Specifications & IS Codes for works and measurements
