Job Summary

The QC Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all quality control activities within the cement manufacturing plant. The role ensures that raw materials, clinker, and finished cement products meet internal specifications, national standards, and customer requirements. The QC Manager leads laboratory operations, process quality monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain consistent product quality and optimize production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control policies, procedures, and standards.
Monitor quality of raw materials, clinker, gypsum, additives, and finished cement.
Supervise laboratory testing activities (chemical, physical, and mechanical tests).
Ensure compliance with national and international cement standards (e.g., ASTM, EN, ISO).
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Process teams to maintain quality parameters.
Analyze test results and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Oversee calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Manage quality documentation, reports, and audit records.
Lead internal and external quality audits.
Handle customer complaints related to product quality and implement root cause analysis.
Train and supervise QC engineers, chemists, and lab technicians.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process and product optimization.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in cement manufacturing quality control.
Strong knowledge of cement chemistry, clinker formation, and process control.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Experience in laboratory management and testing standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Leadership and team management experience.

Note:

According to the company policy Factory employee will get semi furnished Accommodation however Food will be chargeable if taken in Mess/ Canteen. If they want to cook they can.
As it in factory so employees have to work in shift as required. Other facilities according to the organization policy.
