Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to lead and oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities for our infrastructure construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction works, materials, and processes comply with project specifications, industry standards, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement project quality control plans, procedures, and standards.
Ensure all construction works comply with project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable quality standards.
Supervise inspections, material testing, and quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor site activities and identify, report, and resolve quality-related issues and non-conformities.
Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, test reports, and quality control reports.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on quality matters.
Lead and manage QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and laboratory personnel.
Conduct quality audits and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve project quality performance.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 7 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 12 years of overall professional experience in the construction industry, including at least 7 years of proven experience in QC and QA.
Proven experience in at least:
- One Highway or Expressway Construction Project; and
- One Bridge Construction Project with a minimum 50-meter pier height and 400-meter bridge length.
Experience in completed and/or ongoing infrastructure construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, specifications, and testing procedures.
Experience with quality management systems and QA/QC documentation.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction standards.
Familiarity with international construction quality standards and best practices.
