About Us:

Ghumam Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is a leading travel platform dedicated to providing seamless travel experiences for both international and domestic tourists in Nepal. We are currently seeking a skilled QA Tester to join our team on a contract basis to ensure the highest quality of our mobile app.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the Ghumam mobile app.
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify and report defects.
Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and create a test strategy.
Ensure the app meets functional and technical requirements before release.
Document and track bugs using appropriate tools, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
Conduct usability testing to provide feedback on the user experience.
Participate in sprint planning and provide QA estimates for tasks.
Continuously monitor app performance and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a QA Tester, preferably in mobile app testing.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with manual and automated testing tools
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with testing mobile apps on both Android and iOS platforms.
Minimum 2 years of experience in QA testing, or related fields.
Familiarity with testing APIs and backend services.
Knowledge of the travel and tourism industry is a plus.
