About the job

Job Descripton:

Participate in the development of test strategies, plans, and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the testing process using defect-tracking tools.
Perform regression testing to verify software fixes and ensure product stability.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate test results, quality metrics, and potential risks.
Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies, including the implementation of best practices and tools.
Mentor junior QA team members and guide testing techniques and methodologies.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback on product usability and user experience.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience with test automation with any tools and frameworks (Selenium or Cypress or Playwright,Appium, LMS/LOS, Lending system, Fintech, Database queries, Web/ API Automation, Manual Testing
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes is a plus
