Should have knowledge of Software development process and Quality Management Processes
Should have knowledge and experience in technical aspects of software solution being tested
Should have knowledge of Database management system and able to write test queries
Knowledge of Performance testing and its tool
Communication skills-verbal and written
Ability to understand the system requirement
Ability to write test plans and test cases based on end user requirement
Should have good document management skills (Microsoft word, excel, power point etc.)
Should have excellent communication skills
Ability to think in a wider way for finding issues
Should be a good team player

Communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders through any defect reporting tool
Able to write test scripts in any development tool for automation testing
Capability of execute different type of software testing
Other duties as assigned by the concerned authority
