Job Description

Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Experience: 8 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in the construction industry.
Work Location: Site-based
Reporting To: Project Manager

Role and Responsibilities :

  • Inspect and verify materials and construction activities to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct testing on construction materials such as concrete, reinforcement, and aggregates, and review laboratory results.
  • Monitor workmanship during construction activities to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.
  • Create plans to ensure that construction processes meet quality standards.
  • Regularly inspect construction activities and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop detailed plans for how specific tasks will be carried out to ensure quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and any issues found.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Prepare and submit quality-related documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and Material Approval Requests (MARs).
  • Create daily, weekly, and monthly quality progress reports for project stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other engineers and construction teams to identify potential issues and implement improvements.
  • Make sure that all construction activities comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Provide regular updates to management on the quality status of the project
