Ability to write new test cases in a standard way for any new incoming features

Knowledge of different testing type like UI testing, regression testing, functional testing, integration testing and other major testing
Design functional and non-functional test cases that verify requirements and validate functionality
Analyze user stories and technical requirements for validity, feasibility and technical soundness and decompose them to extract positive and negative test scenarios and strong acceptance criteria
Submit and verify defects, maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
Knowledge of non-functional testing like load testing, volume testing, penetration testing
Knowledge in using automation tools like selenium, QTP and other open source tool for running test scripts
Knowledge of SQL and Scripting
Knowledge of security testing of web application
Experience with Agile Development Process
Must have critical/analytical perception, passionate about software development
Knowledge of Project management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, TFS, Redmine etc.
Knowledge of release management process will be plus point
