We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of our software applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with the product and development teams to design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans across client, server, and API platforms. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity and performance of our software systems, especially in regulated financial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Quality Assurance

Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Execute manual and automated testing of client and server-side applications, APIs, and server infrastructure.
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
Test frontend interfaces across multiple browsers and devices for compatibility and responsiveness.
Test backend APIs and verify database integrity.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate issue resolution with the team.

Bug Identification & Documentation

Identify, document, and track bugs using manual and automated bug tracking systems.
Collaborate with developers to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues.
Maintain detailed testing documentation, reports, and QA records.

Process & Compliance

Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide QA perspective.
Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks where applicable.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, particularly in financial systems.
Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and the software development lifecycle.
Experience testing web applications, preferably built with PHP, Laravel, or similar technologies.
Knowledge of security testing principles and data protection requirements.
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
Familiarity with database testing (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, or similar).
Experience with financial or banking sector applications is highly preferred.
