Roles and responsibilities of this job

We areseeking enthusiastic and skilled PYP Math and Science Teachers to teach Mathematics and Science to Primary Years Programme (PYP) students. The ideal candidates will foster a love of inquiry, problem-solving, and hands-on experimentation while supporting students’ conceptual understanding and holistic development.

Academic Session: 2026–2027

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics and/or Science lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework
Use a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and digital tools to create interactive and inquiry-based learning experiences
Support students in developing conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Design and implement assessments to monitor academic progress and provide constructive feedback
Maintain accurate records of student performance, learning portfolios, and lesson plans
Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and school-wide initiatives
Participate actively in professional development, school events, and team meetings

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education specializing in Mathematics or Science.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years proven experience teaching Mathematics and/or Science at the basic level.
Experience using a variety of teaching methodologies and resources including interactive and digital tools.

Skills:

Knowledge in basic level Mathematics and Science.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motive students.
Organizational skills to manage lesson plans, assessment and students’ records.
