Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher for lower secondary students (Grades 6–8). The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching strategies, and the ability to engage students in active learning

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver Mathematics lessons for lower secondary students.
Develop and use creative, age-appropriate teaching methods to enhance understanding.
Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and assessments.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Integrate digital tools and technology in teaching where appropriate.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and consistency.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
Teaching certification or diploma is preferred.
Prior experience teaching lower secondary students is an advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong command of Mathematics concepts and teaching methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students effectively.
Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching strategies.
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching.
Digital literacy for using teaching tools and documentation.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Team player with collaborative mindset.
