Main Tasks/duties and responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and select vendors and suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery timelines.
Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, including issuing purchase orders, tracking orders, and coordinating logistics.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of materials and components to support ongoing projects and operational needs.
Develop mechanical systems and components in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
Conduct feasibility studies, analysis, and simulations to optimize designs for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems into larger projects and ensure compatibility with other subsystems.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for mechanical issues during project execution and maintenance phases.
Maintain accurate records of activities, including purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and receipts.
Generate reports and analysis to track key performance indicators, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Working experience as Mechanical Engineer in manufacturing industry or in projects.
Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
Great organizational and planning skills.
Excellent networking and time management skills.
