A Public Relation Officer (PRO) in a recruitment agency manages the firm’s reputation, builds relationships with clients and candidates, carry out persuasive communication and counselling to retain talented candidates, and handles media/public communications to facilitate hiring. They bridge communication gaps, manage promotional events, and ensure smooth, professional interactions between the agency, stakeholders, and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, candidates, and, different sourcing nexus.
Identify appropriate source and plan recruitment strategies & activities. Targeting sufficient suitable candidates & dealing with enquiries from aspirants and conduct persuasive counselling.
Aggressive follow ups with aspirants to ensure sufficient application and enrolment.
Organize, manage and do all the needful prior & at the time of each interview drives.
Prepare & submit daily progress reports to managers/supervisors with adequate information.
Maintain Report or day book with the full entries of dealing customer and shortlisted candidates on daily basis.
Liaison with clients, candidates, departments at the time of interviews.
Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance the agency's reputation and image.
Focuses on relationship building, media relations, and implementing PR strategies. Handle media inquiries, draft press releases, and manage public communications.
Plan and organize promotional events, press conferences, and company activities.
Handle negative publicity or queries, ensuring a positive brand image is maintained.
Assist in screening and understanding client needs, sometimes aiding in candidate mobilization.
Manage social media and update promotional materials like brochures and videos.
Focuses on administrative support for campaigns and handling basic inquiries.
In specialized case, the PRO role often involves coordinating with stakeholders for documentation, managing relationships with clients, and ensuring ethical, timely communication during the recruitment process.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field will be an advantage.
2 to 3 years in PR, communications, or within a recruitment/manpower agency.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Excellent in computer (MS Word), and Social Media handling will be an advantage.
Strong ability to connect with various stakeholders, including clients and candidates.
Public speaking, crisis management, and proficiency in social media platforms.

Duty Hour: 9 to 6 (including lunch hour in office), attractive salary based on experience, and other benefits as per company norms.
