Roles and responsibilities of this job

An Assistant Public Relations assists in maintaining a positive image of an organization by communicating with the public, handling inquiries, preparing official communications, and supporting public relations activities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Assist in preparing press releases, notices, reports, and official statements.
Communicate with the public, media representatives, and stakeholders.
Handle public inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
Support the planning and organization of public events, meetings, and press conferences.
Maintain records of public relations activities, media coverage, and correspondence.
Assist in preparing social media posts and other public information materials.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure accurate and timely communication.
Help promote the organization's image, services, and activities.
Monitor media coverage and report relevant news to senior officers.
Perform other duties assigned by the Public Relations Officer or management.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Good written and verbal comelormunication skills.
Knowledge of MS Office, email, and social media platforms.
Ability to deal politely with the public and stakeholders.
Good record-keeping, coordination, and time-management skills.
Proficiency in Nepali and English may be required, depending on the organization.

Reporting Line : The Assistant P.R. Officer generally reports to the Public Relations Officer, Public Relations Manager, or the relevant department head.
