Summary of Job Purpose:  

This position will be responsible to liaise with the Ministry of Social Development  in their efforts to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 and align the Suaahara priorities and activities in line with the provincial directives and decisions; provide technical inputs to the provincial health directorate, in standardizing protocols and procedures for COVID-19 testing and treatment, and monitoring visit to districts and local levels; coordinate with the Ministry of Social Development and Health Directorates, UN agencies (UNICEF, WHO) and relevant stakeholders to synchronize activities, standardize messages and materials and avoid duplication of resources; conduct Training of Trainers (TOT) to build the capacity of the resource persons - COVID 19 and Suaahara II staff based on developed orientation package; provide technical support to Resource Persons, Community Engagement Facilitators, Lab Assistant/Officer/Microbiologist for CICT matters; supervision and monitoring districts, municipalities and community level activities in the districts within the province; provide counseling to the Suaahara II frontline staffs as and when required; carry out CCT training at district province and district level; and prepare progress reports on weekly basis 

Educational Qualifications and Experiences: 

  • Bachelors' degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) or other relevant medical degree with an experience of working in the clinical field for at least 2 years
  • Preference will be given to those having experience of working with the federal or provincial government health delivery system
  • Priority will be given to the person with prior experience in CoVID-19 response and any other epidemics
