Position: Project Officer – Education (Mugu)
No. of position: 1 (Woman Only)
Location: Mugu

The main purpose of this position is to ensure the successful implementation of UMN’s education projects in the Mugu Cluster.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Social Sciences with a minimum of three years of working experience in the education sector, especially in Early Childhood Development (ECD), child-friendly teaching-learning, and quality education.
At least three years of working experience in project management with a particular focus on Activity Based Learning (ABL), child-friendly education, Inclusive Education, Education in Emergencies (EiE), School Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), ECD, and systems to support effective programming.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of government education policies, programmes, priorities and issues related to school education in Nepal.
Strong experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, partner management and proposal development.
Excellent communication skills in both Nepali and English, written and verbal.
