Project Officer

INF Nepal aims to bring sustainable improvements in health and quality of life of people and communities. We work to overcome poverty and exclusion by bringing people together to take collective action in their communities. Our community areas of work include community health and development, community-based rehabilitation and anti-human trafficking and disaster resilient & response and climate change and adaptation.

We run three well-equipped hospitals and we endeavour to provide quality care and affordable health services to the people of Nepal. We also run general physical rehabilitation services and medical-surgical outreach in remote parts of Nepal.

We have developed a disaster response and resilience team to respond rapidly and effectively to any emergencies, to work with communities, to help them recover, to become disaster resilience in long term and to prepare for future disasters.

International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a non-Government Organization that was established in 1952 and serving poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life in its fullness through health and development service.  In Nepal, INF Nepal is now providing health and community development services in the provinces of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim.

For the following position, INF Nepal community prorgammes is seeking competent, skilled, service-oriented, and devoted Nepali citizen who share our vision, missions, and values.  

Position: Project Officer                                                                                      
Required Number: 1                                                   
Location:  Banke with frequent visit to project operated districts of INF Nepal

Purpose of the Job:    

The post holder is the lead person responsible for the timely implementation of the Active-AHT Project, ensuring the highest level of work performance, and achieving the project's desired results and impact. S/he is also responsible for maintaining a good relationship with relevant government and non-government stakeholders for the sustainability of the project.

Required Qualifications, Skills and knowledge:

  • Bachelor's in Development or Social Sciences or other relevant academic backgrounds with 3 year’s work experience in community development including Anti-Human Trafficking or safe migration or Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
  • Good understanding of the project management cycle 
  • Good communication skills in both English and Nepali 
  • Proven ability in leading project team 
  • Good knowledge MS Office, especially Excel and Words
  • Ability to work effectively in crisis situations and frequent travel to project areas.
