Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

The project officer will support the Kathmandu office to implement and coordinate different projects in Ramechhap. S/he will:

Be based in Kathmandu office with 50% travel to the project region
Lead the project field staff for maximum efficiency and performance
Support and lead to organize project review meetings-documentation and reporting
Build Strong communication channels and relations with various government line agencies, partner orgnaizations and staff members
Prepare timely project progress reports
Support in preparing monitoring and evaluation tools for different projects

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Other Specification

Minimum Bachelors degree (master’s preferred) in development studies, rural development, social work or related fields
At least 2 year’s work experience in the NGO Sector
Proven experience in project work and management
Good Communication and facilitation skills
Proven experience to lead, motivate and work in a team
Good speaking and writing skills in English and Nepali
Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Calendars, Email etc
