Jhumlawang Village Foundation (JVF) is a community-based organization established in 2009 with a concept of sustainable development in Jhumlawang and its neighbouring communities. JVF has a strong presence in Bhume Rural Municipality for initiating and advocating agroecology practices. JVF is implementing Health, Nutrition and Education Improvement Project in ward 2 and 3 of Bhume Rural Municipality, Rukum East since 2019 supported by Fastenaktion (FA) and Bhume Rural Municipality. The second phase of the project starts from November 2025 until December 2028. It aims to improve the health and nutrition condition of the project area through adopting agroecological practices. It also focuses on establishing Jhumlawang as an agroecological village. The project requires Project Officer to support the implementation of the Health, Nutrition and Education Improvement Project II.
Job Summary
The Project Officer will support the Executive Director (ED) for implementing the Health, Nutrition and Education Improvement Project- II funded by Fastenaktion, Switzerland. S/he is required to support the Project Coordinator in planning, implementation, and reporting of the project, technically backstopping field staff for field activities implementation. Lead natural resource related advocacy and policy dialogues/reviews at national/local level. S/he will also be responsible for monitoring the project activities in collaboration with Project Coordinator, documentation of project learnings and achievements and providing timely feedback to the project team while preparing the project reports and proposals.
