  • Fluency in English and Nepali or other local languages is an advantage.

About MRDS

  • Child Education and Community Support (CECS): A sponsorship program providing direct support to children and their families in the Chumnubri area, improving access to education and essential resources.
  • Project 28 (P28): Empowering women and promoting dignity during menstruation through education, resources, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

As the Project Manager/Coordinator, you will:

  • Take responsibility for the planning, execution, and evaluation of the two projects CECS and P28 in Nepal.
  • Collaborate closely with the MRDS founder and European-based team to align project goals and strategies.
  • Oversee the implementation of CECS and P28, ensuring project milestones are met within budget and timeframes.
  • Work actively in both urban (Kathmandu) and rural (Philim and surrounding mountain regions) areas, engaging directly with communities.
  • Organize and conduct workshops for women, while also managing workshop logistics and planning.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including community leaders, government agencies, and partner organizations.
  • Manage relationships with authorities in Nepal to ensure smooth project operations and compliance.
