Job Description

  • Conduct planning, permitting, engineering analysis and design studies
  • Project manager or project engineer, responsible for developing drawings, technical specifications, design basis reports and calculations, bid documents and project schedules
  • Participate in dam safety inspections
  • Provide technical assistance and periodic during construction
  • Provide peer and senior technical review of project deliverables and direct project activities of staff-level engineers
  • Provide mentoring and coaching of staff-level engineers
  • Prepare proposals, develop project scopes, schedules and budgets, and client presentations
  • Build effective relationships with Team Leaders, Business Group Managers, Client Relationship Managers, Service Line Ladders and other key people
  • Develop and mentor team members
  • Prepare documents including design criteria, scope of work and schedule, procedures and requirements, diagrams and drawings, specifications and other design-produced documents, to determine the approach and work to be undertaken, budgeted, scheduled and implemented
  • Update and inform the project team and/or client representative on work progress providing suggested solutions or modifications as needed
