Reports to: Head of Technical Department

About the role

We are looking to recruit a skilled professional who can conduct strategic IT Projects and implement the projects while adhering to our given project methodology. Your general responsibilities will include, managing and tracking project requirements, streamlining processes to maintain project efficiency and assisting the technical team to communicate with senior project leadership.  

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Define the scope of the project, roles, and responsibilities along with the top management and teams
• Lead, monitor, and motivate teams and interact with staff at all levels in the company
• Create and update team processes to increase productivity
• Breakdown complex projects into weekly or bi-weekly sprints to estimate delivery date
• Managing multiple client projects in both software and cloud domain. Manage national and international projects
• Maintain correct project time frames, estimates, and status reports. Report periodically the status and performance of every project
• Make sure that all projects are completed and reviewed. Ensure business process standards are followed properly
• Must ensure teams follow the correct procedures, policies, and documentation requirements across project phases
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
• Understands, tracks and articulates issues / risks / action items; work with responsible owners to address the issues on a timely basis; update the appropriate members as needed
• Resolves conflicts by demonstrating leadership and appropriate decision-making competencies
• Other task assigned by line manager

Knowledge, Experience and Skills required

• Bachelor’s degree in any IT related discipline
• Have at least 4 years’ experience in related technical management roles.  
• Good interpersonal skills so as to be able to relate with people or personnel from different department of the company
• Able to work to conflicting deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
• Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
• Good knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures, and various compatibility requirements
• Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
