Location: Habitat Nepal East Office Biratnagar
Reports to: Program Manager East Office and technically to Microfinance Manager in Kathmandu/Central Office
Field Visits: Frequent travel to project areas (minimum 60%)
Core Function: The Project Coordinator will support the implementation of project namely “Financial Inclusion for Marginalized Women in Nepal” through local implementing partner Sahara Nepal. This position is a project-specific role, tied directly to funding from Jersey Overseas Aid (JOA), and as such, needs to ensure smooth implementation of the project in the field. It also follows Habitat Nepal’s financial inclusion strategies and planning processes that are alligned with Habitat’s Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter’s (TCIS) regional and global practices.
The incumbent will support the project by providing technical assistance, training, and project administration services and will closely work with the Financial Inclusion Department at Central Office, Program Managers with exceptional interpersonal and coordination skills.
