Role overview:
To be the lead reference point for the Adolescent Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health (AYSRH) theme in inclusive education projects.
To administer the project activities with in coordination with NGO partners through empowering, monitoring and support mechanism for quality implementation of the project in working districts.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience required:
Essential

  • Experience of adolescent health programmes/ projects and experience of identifying, analyzing, problem solving, responding to opportunities and challenges, and the ability to translate ideas into practical action
  • Practical experience of applying development issues at a project or schools/communities and education management level.
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of development issues particularly adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health.
  • Facilitating skills, and skills on assessments of possible partners etc.
  • Clear understanding of project cycle management tools to ensure effective planning, resourcing, implementation and review of programmes /projects.
  • Experience on report writing.
  • Experience of the financial management of budgets, including building a budget, and monitoring and managing expenditure.
  • Evidence of understanding the challenges of donor and contract management and the implications for programme management.
  • Bachelor degree in nursing, public health and health sciences.
  • Proven experiences working in diverse, multicultural team.
  • Fluent in English and Nepali language (writing and speaking)
  • IT (MS office) proficiency
  • Able to frequently travel

Desirable:

  • Experience of managing international volunteers
  • Experience in advocacy work
  • Experience on media and/or advocacy
