This Project Coordinator will report to the Country Representative.

Key performance indicators are as follows:

Ensure progress against the plan: 

  • Facilitate partner organisations to ensure implementation as per the plan, project implementation guidelines and organisational strategy.

Track expenditure against budget

  • Analyse the progress against expenditure to generate the maximum yield with optimal input

Manage monthly MIS: 

  • Track the quantitative progress of the project indicators. Ensured performance analysis includes qualitative & quantitative output, activity, expenditure, challenges, and lessons learnt

Enhance project quality: 

  • Conduct regular field visits and analyse quality/process issues of interventions. Prepare quarterly monitoring report and share with management team

Capacity building of project staff: 

  • Facilitate to assess development needs and arrange technical skill training for project staff

Develop future programme: 

  • Support program team in preparing log frame, Theory of Change, M&E plan etc. for new project concept notes and proposals


Job Description

Project management 

  • Facilitate project activities as per implementation guidelines by developing and disseminating appropriate tools and techniques
  • Facilitate capacity building activities, including building technical capacity of implementing team
  • Ensure gender awareness and inclusion of excluded is mainstreamed in every implementation steps 

Partnership management 

  • Facilitate consultation and collaboration with donors, partners and other stakeholders over progress reporting 
  • Liaise with government line agencies and ministries on behalf of the project
  • Prepare relevant technical briefing papers and status updates for the project management team

Monitoring and evaluation 

  • Contribute to country management through timely processing and dissemination of reports, achievements and best practices to facilitate evidence-based planning, learning and decision-making
  • Ensure the authentication of quantity and quality of achievements, coordinating relevant personnel; disseminates feedback reports to staff members
  • Ensure the quality against the benchmark indicators set in the M&E framework and prepare monitoring report
  • Conduct annual review by assessing project performance and analyse progress

Documentation and reporting 

  • Undertake Annual Project Review (APR) to capture the achievements at the outcome and output levels and disseminate the APR reports to all stakeholders
  • Ensure disaggregate data in each component of implementation and future design
  • Produce case analysis; success stories and lessons learned

Coordination and relationship

  • Represent BRAC Nepal and International in external forum, networks, associations, donor communities, bilateral and multilateral organisations
  • Develop concept notes and proposal based on the community context, achievements, need to be identified in the community and fundraising opportunity as per the organisational goal, mission, objectives and values
  • Any other organisational tasks assigned by the Country Representatives as per the country and community needs
