Requirements

• B.Sc, in Agriculture.
• 2 years of experience in disaster preparedness/risk reduction and livelihood field.
• Experience of working in the hill area of far west Nepal and is acquainted with the local context.
• Excellent command of spoken of local language
• Good social mobilization, motivation and community sensitization skills
• Knowledge in on farm and off farm enterprise development
• Strong planning, analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Takes initiatives.
• Acts as a team player and facilitates teamwork
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent verbal communication/facilitation skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish working relations with target communities and project team
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to make sound judgement and decisions.
• Very good planning, coordination, monitoring and organizational skills.
• Proactive, resourceful, solutions oriented and results oriented.
• Candidates from the project areas are preferred
• Local candidates will be given high preference.
