Job Description

Period: 10 Months (1 July 2020–30 April 2021)

  • Master’s Degree in Education or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in improved educational outcomes
  • Maintain good rapport with governments (federal, province and local) for the promotion of the Early Grade Learning (EGL) and Early Childhood Education and Development program in all schools located in the project area
  • Experiences in the field of Early Childhood Education and Development
  • Experience in Early Grade Learning (EGL) or community literacy preferred
  • Experience in facilitation and conduction of EGR and ECD training to the teachers and ECD center facilitators
  • Knowledge on the Federal, Provincial and Local Government (Federal System) Policies and Programs of EGL and ECED
  • Experience in planning, coordination and facilitation
  • Good knowledge in English and Nepali (Written & Spoken)
  • Analytical report writing ability in English
  • Experience with ICT interventions preferred
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Hold motorcycle licenses
