Swatantrata Abhiyan Nepal (SAN), established in 2012, is a Non-Governmental Organization. It is a secular, non-partisan organization that implements advocacy, peoples empowerment, research and movement building activities and campaigns on the area of human rights, fundamental freedoms and civil liberties. SAN works together with Government and Civil Society Organizations, Trade Unions to end all kinds of fear, discrimination, slavery like practices, discrimination and deprivation all over Nepal. Currently Swatantrata Abhiyan has been working at federal level and three provinces (Bagmati, Lumbini and Sudupaschim Province) campaigning to end Child Labor, Forced Labor, Human Trafficking along with various civil society organisations in the collaboration with Global March against Child Labor in Nepal.

Education Level : Graduate (Masters)
Experience Required : More than or equal to 2 years
Other Specification
  • Master’s Degree in Social Science with research skills and knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience on child labor issues in Nepal 
  • Experience of minimum 2 years’ work leading anti-child labor project in Nepal
  • Team working skills and leadership qualities
  • Language Fluency in English and Nepali (both written and speaking)

Job Description

  • Coordinate and implement project activities
  • Organize events and program with partners
  • Provide technical support to partners
  • Represent and report to Donors and Collaborator
  • Document activities, monitor progress and report to board and senior management for required actions
  • Liaison with government authorities as required at local, provincial and federal level. 
  • Prepare advocacy materials from project
  • Support partners and local organist ions to finalize their community research actions
