Swatantrata Abhiyan Nepal is a Nepali National Non Government Organization working against all forms of modern day slavery, forced labor and child labor. SAN is an advocacy focused organization having three major pillars of interventions: policy advocacy, research and capacity building and movement building. SAN and world education with support from US Department of Labor has been implementing “ Sakriya Project” to trace, advocate and campaign against child labor in supply chain with special focus in 15 districts of Nepal. SAN is responsible for building capacities of community organizations and partner organizations on documenting evidences at community level and having community based advocacy actions.

Job Specification

Education Level : Master
Experience Required : More than or equals to 2 years
Other Specification
  • Master’s Degree in Social Science with research skills and knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience on child labor issues in Nepal 
  • Experience of minimum 2 years’ work leading anti-child labor project in Nepal
  • Team working skills and leadership qualities
  • Language Fluency in English and Nepali (both written and speaking)

Job Description

  • Coordinate and implement project activities
  • Organize events and program with partners
  • Provide technical support to partners
  • Represent and report to Donors and Collaborator
  • Document activities, monitor progress and report to board and senior management for required actions
  • Liaison with government authorities as required at local, provincial and federal level. 
  • Prepare advocacy materials from project
  • Support partners and local organist ions to finalize their community research actions
