HI works alongside the vulnerable populations, whatever the context, taking action to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights. Present in Nepal since 2000, HI works through a network of local partner organizations in the area of health and physical rehabilitation, inclusive education and resilience including emergency response to improve the living conditions and involvement of the most vulnerable populations in Nepal.

Terms & Conditions: Fixed term position for 1 year (with possibility of extension) based in Country Office, Kathmandu 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide required administrative support to team members and partners
  • Ensure the partners expenditures are verified and there are evidences for all expenditures
  • Arrange logistic support to the team members for daily operations and other events
  • Support Project Manager for budget forecasting, budget expenditure monitoring and re-budgeting
  • Monitor partners’ budget including utilization trends as provisioned in the agreement and provide necessary guidance to the partners 

Qualification and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business studies or related field 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administration and logistic support in development projects
  • Basic knowledge of financial procedures, income tax act and VAT 
  • Excellent computer application skills particularly in excel and word
