Roles and responsibilities of this job

Designing and building the website front-end
Creating the website architecture
Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
Generating WordPress themes and plugins
Conducting website performance tests
Troubleshooting content issues
Conducting WordPress training with the client
Monitoring the performance of the live website

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 3 years

Other Specification

Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer
Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery
Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN
Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug
Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
Develop WordPress themes for new client projects
Apply new plugin features to client websites (WordPress)
Work to resolve issues related to WordPress websites and client hosting
Assist in maintaining website's speed performance and security
At least 3+ years experience developing WordPress themes
Confidence in coding HTML5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript
Fully understands responsive coding
A team player who is happy working in a small team or 2-4 people
Experience in cross-browser compliance issues
