Level of Effort: 1 year
Duration: The position is expected to be full-time for a period of 12 months.
Reporting: The position will report directly to the Programme Manager, or his/her delegate at DT-Global.

Lines of Communication: 

Accountable to: Team Leader
Technical support: Programme Manager

Position Overview

The Programme Support will provide key administrative support to the LISP programme team and will be present at all key meetings to prepare “real time” minutes, as well as providing other support functions. He/she would need to learn quickly the skill of noting down key points of discussion agreement and action points in each meeting. Having such support would free up valuable time of senior experts and provide rapid records for use in LISP delivery and management.

Scope of Work:

  • Preparation of high quality and accuracy “semi-real time” minutes of meetings (both internal to LISP and with external
  • stakeholders) which capture key discussion topics key agreements and time-bound action points. Assist and support
  • team in research, data collection and analysis. Support programme documentation and report preparation as needed.
  • Assisting with logistics and administrative support for programme. Contribute to overall learning management and other learning activities.
  • Perform any tasks as assigned by leads and staff, as and when required by the PM or TL.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Fresh graduate with a bachelor's degree in development, International Development, Public Administration, Business, or a related field
  • Demonstrable good interpersonal skills with an evident willingness to learn
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, and IT skills, (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)
  • Fast-paced typing speed in English to record information in semi-real time.
  • Possessing good Nepali typing skills.
  • Strong analytical writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team and independently.
  • Knowledge and skill on how to record and transcribe meetings in Microsoft teams and other virtual platforms.
  • Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) software also an advantage for both translating and transcribing audio records of meetings
