Progressive youth Society (PYS) is a non-governmental, non-profitable and non-religious organization. It was registered under district administrative office Bajhang on March 29, 2004 according to social welfare act 2034, in Bajhang. Since then, PYS is heavily engaged in various components of community development through various project reaching out to the children, adolescent, youth, women, People with disabilities, conflicts and disaster survivors from marginalized and underprivileged groups.

In partnership with World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), PYS is going to implement integrated protection and community engagement sponsorship project, Quality and inclusive education project and Nutrition resilient livelihood project in Jayaprithvi Municipality and Kedarsiun Rural Municipality of Bajhang district. Therefore, now PYS is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions for smooth implementation of these projects.

Location:  Bajhang   

Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in Agriculture Science or relevant discipline with three to five year of experience in related project (Market led agriculture, LVCD)

Key Skills and Knowledge:

  • Provide management to NRL project and monitor performance of project team in implementation of project ensuring projects are delivered on scope, on time and on budget as per the agreements.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate risks associated with the implementation of project, and development of mitigation measures.
  • With guidance from Field Specialist-A&ED ensure appropriate analysis and project results, including sharing of results and continuous improvements of project design and implementation.
  • In coordination with Field sector lead- NRL relationships and engagement with government line agencies, other INGOs/NGOs, research institutions and private sector at local and district levels in alignment with project strategy/plan.
