Program Officer

Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs' Forum (NYEF) is an apex body of young entrepreneurs in Nepal. It is a membership based non-profit organization, established with a vision to become the most influential community of young entrepreneurs in Nepal. It aims at creating outstanding entrepreneurs through idea exchange, fellowships, education, training and advocacy among the Nepali youth. The forum was officially instituted by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) on September 26, 2003. NYEF is also one of the founding members of the SAARC Young Entrepreneurs Forum (SYEF), Association of Youth Organization Nepal (AYON) and the World Young Entrepreneurs Forum (WYEF) and a member of the Confederation of Asia Pacific Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) Committee on Youth Entrepreneurship. It is currently the Vice President of Young Entrepreneurs Group Asia Pacific (YEGAP) consisting of 29 member countries of CACCI and is the President of SAARC Young Entrepreneurs Forum (SYEF). NYEF is also an invitee member in Commonwealth-Asia Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs (CAAYE).

Job Description

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy aligned to the vision, mission, and values of the organization, along with the Board.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant country laws, regulations and with standard accounting procedures.
  • Take the lead in organizing trainings, seminars, conference and other activities that aligns with the organization’s mission and vision.
  • Ensure accuracy of monthly ongoing activities. 
  • Maintain and update the organization’s accounting, budgeting and finances.
  • Coordinate with various chapters all over Nepal to communicate with the Board’s strategy and goals.
  • Write proposals, press releases; build, maintain, enhance and coordinate media relations.
  • Cultivate, build and maintain key relationships with board, Chapter executives, members along external stakeholders and partners such as government bodies, media, other nonprofits et. Al. 
  • Responsibly manage and supervise the branding and social media of the organization.
  • Continuously network, identify new areas of opportunities and aim to lead organizational growth according to the vision and values of the organization
  • Develop and responsibly manage the marketing, branding and communications, budget of the organization.
  • Supervise and manage other team members under the directive and guidance of the board. 
  • Provide any other support or carry out any other task as requested by the board.
