We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Program Manager for an anticipated five-year USAID/Nepal Kathmandu Valley – Clean Air Program (KCAP). This program will seek to reduce air pollution in the Kathmandu Valley, and potentially other areas of Nepal, by addressing the sources of air pollution through: 1) building the capacity of and providing technical assistance to government to increase adherence to environmental regulations, use data for solution identification, and drive policy formulation, enforcement and implementation; 2) strengthening existing and new civil society and community networks, particularly those representing marginalized communities, to advocate and advance public interest on improving air quality; 3) and establishing private sector partnerships. Position Description
The Program Manager for KCAP will serve in critical technical and program management role within the Kathmandu Valley – Clean Air Programme (KCAP) to ensure timely and quality delivery of project results per the approved project agreement. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing implementation of the project, coordinating resources and activities across the project team and facilitating work plan development and tracking and deliverables preparation and submission. S/he will serve as the ley liaison with project partners and sub awardees, ensuring their timely delivery of agreement deliverables, and supervise three cross-functional personnel.
