Felm-Nepal is looking for an experienced professional for the role of Program Manager. The Program Manager will ensure efficient liaison with government authorities and other key stakeholders and coordination of development cooperation program management tasks. The Program Manager reports to Country Director and works in close collaboration with Regional Manager.

• Managing drafting of Felm-Nepal project agreement proposals to government of Nepal and engaging with senior level government officials relating to the agreement processes
• Engaging with government authorities and other key stakeholders of Felm-Nepal’s development cooperation
• Managing tasks related to Felm-Nepal’s development cooperation program cycle in close collaboration with Felm-Nepal’s staff 
• Taking responsibility for leading specific processes or projects in development cooperation as per need in a fast-paced and changing international working environment
• Managing and coordinating relationships with six local development cooperation partners
• Keeping the management of Felm-Nepal and Felm Headquarters informed about progress of key tasks, proposing solutions to address any problems and executing the agreed way forward

Duty station: Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it is anticipated that this role will be to a large extent conducted working remotely from home. Some work conducted at Felm-Nepal office in Kathmandu and meetings with stakeholders for example in government offices are expected

Salary and benefits: This is a fixed-term position until 31 December 2021 with possibility of extension subject to performance and availability of funding. Salary will be determined as per Felm-Nepal human resources policies
